Want to Write for My Blog?
Ever feel like you have a message to share, but don’t know where to share it? Well, you’re in luck! My blog is open for guest posts!
Every week, usually on Fridays, I’ll give you the opportunity to share something on my blog. Why? Because I believe strongly that every one of us is given different talents and gifts and that we can all learn from one another. I also believe that one of the greatest teachers in life is experience. You can learn from my experience, but I too can certainly learn from yours.
So pull out those writing skills - this is your chance to share some of those life lessons that you’ve been keeping tucked away for so long. Check out my Guest Post Guidelines below for more details.
What's a guest post?
A guest post is your chance to write a post and have it posted on my blog.
Why would you want to have guest posts on your blog?
I believe very much in the beauty of diversity and that God made us all different so we could learn from one another. I have a particular style and particular strengths, while others have different styles and different strengths. I believe we all complete one another and therefore everyone benefits when more people are involved in the sharing process.
“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all” (1 Corinthians 12:4-7)
What kind of content do you accept?
Anything that is useful for my readers is good content for a guest post here. Please see the ABOUT ME page on my blog to understand the purpose of my blog and what kind of content would be acceptable.
General Guidelines
- Your post should be at least 500 words long and no more than 800 words.
- Your post must be original and must have never been published before on the Internet
- You agree to not publish the post anywhere else (i.e., in your own blog or as a guest post in other blogs)
- You can include one link in the byline, which will be displayed at the top of the post
Editing
I will likely edit your post for grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. I may also provide a short introduction or conclusion to your post to provide context or rationale as to why I think the post is important.
Submission Guidelines
If you have a post that meets the guidelines above, you can send email it to guestpost@franthony.com. And please be sure to include a one to two-sentence byline that includes what you do, along with your blog address and your Twitter and/or Facebook address.
Also, you must be willing to engage my readers in the comments about your post. This is hugely important and non-negotiable. I believe that blogs are meant to be a sharing of information, not just a disseminating of it. So feel free to end your post with some type of question for discussion if you like.
