After an extremely hectic couple of weeks, I'll be taking some time off for the holidays. So no blog post or scope this week (or next). Instead, I'll be focusing on a) catching up on some R&R with the family, b) preparing my heart for Christ's glorious birth (starting with my own confession appointment today) and c) preparing for an AWESOME 2018!
I pray that you have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year, and if you're still trying to figure out what to do for some last minute gift ideas, there's still time to order more copies of "WHATEVER, GOD".
Merry Christmas everyone!
"The Lord did not come to make a display. He came to heal and to teach suffering men. For one who wanted to make a display, the thing would have been just to appear and dazzle the beholders. But for Him Who came to heal and to teach, the way was not merely to dwell here, but to put Himself at the disposal of those who needed Him, and to be manifested according as they could bear it.”
-- St. Athanasius of Alexandria, On the Incarnation
