We’re bringing MOMENTUM to you!
That’s right. For the first time ever, you don’t need to book a flight, or a hotel, or figure out whose couch you’ll be sleeping on…this year, MOMENTUM is coming to your home, your laptop, and your TV screen (and maybe even your phone, but hopefully not).
For only $20 per person, you can register for this year’s conference on June 27 – a one day virtual event where you’ll get to learn from a diverse group of speakers from across the globe. Such as,
Steven Christoforou - Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministries (Y2AM) for the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, and maker of the “Be the Bee” videos on YouTube
Sarah Byrne-Martelli - a convert to Orthodoxy who now serves as the Palliative Care Chaplain at Massachusetts General Hospital and hosts a podcast on Ancient Faith Radio titled, "The Wounded Healer"
And others such as Fr. Abraham Fam, Fr. James Guirguis, Dr. Mena Mirhom, Ms. Arkie Tassew, and Ms. Phoebe Farag Mikhail. And of course, yours truly as well :)
The topic? WHAT DOES LOVE REQUIRE
On the final night before His death, Jesus gathered His disciples together and warned them of difficult days to come. And then He gave them this command:
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” John 13:34
Jesus made it clear that regardless of the difficulties that lay ahead for His followers, the lasting command is to love one another, just as He loved us.
That responsibility was established 2000 years ago and still rings true today.
So in the midst of today’s climate - one filled with chaos, unrest, and fear all around - the question we need to be wrestling with is this: what does love require of me?
And while I might not always know what to think or what to believe, I almost always know what loves requires me to do.
I hope you'll join me on June 27 as we seek to answer that question. Click here to reserve your spot today.
